The Albany Huskies Robotics team is a group which works each season to construct a robot from scratch to perform a set of tasks presented in a game. Students work on skills including metalworking, prototyping, computer programming, accounting, PR and Marketing, teamwork, advanced problem solving, and communication. While the main season is an 8-10 week window, the team works in the off season to generate funding from local businesses to help support the costs of the team.
This team is for any student looking for a fast paced and fun winter activity that involves multiple skills and tasks. The season runs January - March,  plus off season meetings to generate funds.
